Bookmarks in search engines
Bookmarks in search engines is a free Chrome add-on developed by e-motiv. This add-on enhances your search experience by allowing you to search, highlight, and display relevant bookmarks when using your favorite search engine, such as Google or Ecosia.
The main features of Bookmarks in search engines include a popup that shows bookmarks with the same search terms in the URL or title, as well as bookmarks with exact matching URLs from the search results. Additionally, the add-on provides a toolbar with search terms that you can cycle through on the results page, as well as on any follow-up pages and tabs. It also highlights search terms in different colors for easy identification.
Other features of Bookmarks in search engines include the ability to customize when the add-on activates, the option to exclude or include URLs, subdomains, domains, or tabs. It supports multiple default search engines, including Google, Stack Overflow, Dogpile, Baidu, Yahoo, Bing, Ask, and Ecosia. The add-on also shows a viewpane as an icon until the search box contains more than two characters.
In the future, Bookmarks in search engines plans to add features such as showing bookmark favicons, searching bookmark tags and descriptions, opening the Bookmarks Sidebar when clicking on bookmarks, opening an edit dialog to edit bookmarks, and searching for not exact but similar URLs.
With Bookmarks in search engines, you can easily access relevant bookmarks while searching, making your browsing experience more efficient and streamlined.
